GOD I've missed fandom. Last month I started reading fic regularly again and what joy. When I'll get around to fixing it so I can post simultaneously to IJ & LJ, I don't know.
I can't find a fandom yet for the new Star Trek film or even a nice Journal-type fandom and am having a geekattack just wanting to know how it will be abbreviated. Maybe I'm not too late to invent it myself omg.
Not much else to say. I'm working v. hard in RL and feeling stressed out by lots of things but enjoying life too. |

got an email from lj that my paid extra pics thing is ending, so I've moved them all over here. No idea what's going on with the migration - whether everyone is posting at both lj and Inj, or everyone has gone back to lj or what. When i briefly checked my flist though it seems like mostly the Mighty Boosh fans posting at the moment so perhaps the hp fen are here. Or perhaps no one is posting at all *tumbleweed*.
It's good to know there are people online even when I can't get online much. RL friends have been hugely disappointing lately. One friend is getting married and I'm not even invited to the hen do. Fair enough we sorta fell out a few months ago when I slagged off her boyfriends idiotic politics, but it's a surprise to find something like a wedding out through the grapevine.
Finished putting up the xmas decorations tonight. My puppy was fascinated by all the strange behaviour and enjoyed chewing the sellotape. |

Eff me this migration is making me mad. Since I've got a Mac I can't archive or move my old LJ posts to IJ. Also I'm too lazy to do a nice layout so the internets are pissing me off today. I was meant to spend my weekend on a permaculture course but it's been cancelled today apparently because the hippie running it is a flake. Instead I'm doing lots of baking, tending my plants and possibly finishing (and starting) a job application. That'll have to wait until I read a snarry though. |
